Hi, I’m Jamie –

I’m a communicator, educator, and trusted advisor with a lifelong passion for helping individuals and organizations transform the way they connect.

A former professor and leader in higher education and talent development, I’ve spent years guiding people toward more authentic, effective, and human-centered communication. As a sought-after consultant, coach, and speaker, I bring a blend of insight, creativity, and practical strategies to every conversation, workshop, and coaching session.

After decades of studying how people show up around one another, I realized that there are four elements that define the quality of our communication. Together, they form my signature Human-Kind Communication™ approach: Mindfulness, Intention, Curiosity, and Kindness. When any one of these elements is missing, the chemistry is off, and we are less than our best selves. Oh, but when these elements are combined, the chemistry is magical, and we truly can change the world.

I’m an insatiable learner, always exploring new frontiers — from the inner workings of the brain to the evolving relationship between AI and human communication. I also co-host the Thrive-Learn-Connect Podcast, where we dive into conversations about growth, evolution, and building meaningful connections in today’s complex world.

At my core, I believe that now – more than ever – the world needs Human-Kind Communication™. We can imagine a better world and speak it into being.

The meaning behind the logo

My logo is based on the Triskele, one of the oldest Celtic symbols. The Triskele symbol, otherwise known as the Triskelion, is a trilateral symbol consisting of three interlocked spirals. The Celts associate a variety of meanings to the Triskele, including movement and personal growth.

In my version, the three inner spirals represent the elements of mindfulness, intention, and curiosity and the outer spiral represents the element of kindness.
